Al Iannuzzi, author of Greener Products: The Making and Marketing of Sustainable Brands, addresses the key issues driving greenhouse gas emissions and the unprecedented resource depletion of raw materials, cultivable land, and clean water access. In the face of those challenges, this talk will feature best practices for making and marketing sustainable brands. Drawing from extensive industry research, Al will address approaches such as biomimicry, circular economy objectives, emerging issues management, and eco-innovation. Al Iannuzzi, PhD
Al Iannuzzi, PhD has over 30 years of industry leadership and expertise in the area of sustainable consumer products. He serves currently as Vice President of Sustainability at Estée Lauder Companies and teaches as an adjunct professor of product improvement and sustainability at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Previously, Al served as Senior Director of Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability at Johnson & Johnson, where he championed the governance processes for green product design and product stewardship regulations.
Al is the author of three books on sustainable business, including Greener Products (CRC Press, 2017) as well as numerous articles on product stewardship and environmental compliance. He is a frequent lecturer on sustainability and marketing at major universities.
